Many of these bogus notices accuse you of conducting some form of illegal activity. The notices claim to be from various law enforcement and government agencies. Most of the time these notices are obviously fake but the worst part it how brutally it locks your computer and does not allow you to use your computer at all.


Some of these notices have been very detailed in their criminal accusations. There are even known to be webcams, ip address listings and specific locations listed in an attempt to convince the computer user that it is real. Of course do not believe anything that once of these computer notices says. These PaySafeCard notices are a scam.


The payment method that is requested by the fake notices is typically Ukash or PaySafeCard. The amount of the fines varies and is typically over 100 euro. Once you have been infected with a PaySafeCard virus it will render your computer useless.

The virus removal instructions we have outlined below has been proven remove the PaySafeCard Virus. You must be on the infected computer when performing these steps.


1 To begin, go ahead and reboot the infected computer. If the infected computer is turned off, go ahead and turn it on.




2 Immediately as the computer begins to boot, press F8 many times. Pressing F8 allows you to access the Advanced Options Menu.




3 Once you are in the Advanced Options Menu, use your arrow keys and select the Safe Mode with Networking option. Press enter when you have selected that option.

4 Windows will now boot into Safe Mode with Networking. Safe Mode with Networking will allow you to remove PaySafeCard which it would not allow when Windows was in normal mode.




5Once you are in Safe Mode with Networking it is time to begin the PaySafeCard Virus removal procedure. On your keyboard, click and hold the Windows key, then press the R key. See keyboard diagram below.

6 After you have pressed the Windows and R key, the Windows Run Box will open. Type exactly the following into the run box and click OK:

After clicking OK, your computer will connect to the internet and download our recommended virus removal program called Spyhunter.




7 When you see the Spyhunter download box, click the Run button. The picture of the download box is below. After you click the “Run” button, Spyhunter will launch.       Are you able to enter the control panel? Attempt to remove the administrator restrictions that are in the control panel.

    I’m trying to remove the virus from my desktop. I have problems with step 2. After trying a few times, I can get in safe mode. However before the computer gets started up in safe mode it restarts in normal mode. What can I do?

      We are working on a solution. It is a complicated issue when the computer automatically reboots. Please keep trying to get into safe mode with networking. It may eventually work.
